World Bike Tour
On World Asthma Day, the Eber family flew from Washington D.C. to Athens to begin a 16 month cycling journey around the world to raise funds and awareness for asthma and clean air. Paula and Lorenz pedaled on two tandems with their daughters Anya (age 13) and Yvonne (age 11), camping for most of the journey. On their journey, they crossed over the Alps and the Rocky Mountains, passed through Siberia and the Gobi Desert, and pedaled through a snowstorm, an earthquake and a tornado, among other adventures. All fundraising proceeds went to the 501-c-3 non-profit foundation, World Bike for Breath. Visit the original World Bike for Breath website to learn more.
